In the upper right hand corner of the map you will find the following icons:
This section contains all key project setup details. It also includes version control, which allows you to move forward or backward in time through your saved progress.
Every time you save, a new version is stored.
You can return to a previous version at any time.
If you don’t like an older version, simply skip ahead to a later saved point.
Shortcut keys are also listed here for quick access to common functions.
Everything placed on the map is considered an object. Objects of the same type are grouped into layers.
This area lets you toggle layers on or off for a clearer view.
Example: If you don’t want trenches to be visible, you can hide them here.
Uploaded PDFs also appear as layers and can be shown or hidden as needed.
If you forget what a specific icon or color represents, click here to view the legend for quick reference.
Choose between different base map options for your project:
Google Maps (default) – typically offers the clearest view.
ESRI Maps (imagery) – a useful alternative if you need additional map details.
You can switch between these options to see which works best for your current task.

If this icon appears, it means there’s a problem with your project build.
It’s best to ignore this until the end of your build, as many issues resolve naturally during the process.
Click the Issues icon to open a popup window with details.
Hover over an issue to highlight the related object on the map and see a description of the problem.
Located in the upper left corner of the map, the compass helps you stay oriented while navigating your project.
The dark grey arrow always points north.
Click the compass at any time to recenter and reposition the project site so that north is at the top of the screen.
